HOUSTON– TE Connectivity will launch the HydraElectric wet-mate connectors at this year’s Offshore Technology Conference at NRG Park.

Modular in design and qualified to 4,000 m (13,123 ft) water depth, the wet-mate connectors are used in electrical, signal, and distribution networks in subsea control systems.

The company says that the connectors are qualified to meet ISO13628-6 and API 17F-SEAFOM TSD-02, Statoil TR2390 Ver2 and Total GS EP SPS 021 Rev. 07 requirements and also support industry standards for Ethernet protocols, including CAN Bus compatibility.

TE is exhibiting at its SEACON booth #4061.
