Statoil takes delivery of C-Kore subsea testing tools

C-Kore Systems has delivered two further C-Kore subsea testing tools to Statoil.

NORTH YORKSHIRE, UKC-Kore Systems has delivered two further C-Kore subsea testing tools to Statoil.

The company says the units proved the insulation resistance and continuity of spare electrical cables located on the seabed that had no connection to topsides equipment.

The tools are used on both fault-finding and construction campaigns to confirm the health or find faults in all types of electrical assets, including umbilicals, EFLs, SCMs, and distribution units.

C-Kore Systems will be exhibiting at theSubsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas, from March 21-23.
