Pentair, Tranberg combine for arctic offshore heating, lighting

Electrical heat-tracing systems provider Pentair has formed a collaboration with Tranberg, a supplier of lighting, heating, and stainless steel enclosures for oil and gas and helideck applications.

LEUVEN, Belgium – Electrical heat-tracing systems provider Pentair has formed a collaboration with Tranberg, a supplier of lighting, heating, and stainless steel enclosures for oil and gas and helideck applications.

The duo will offer what they claim is reliable and energy-efficient integrated winterization solutions for operation in arctic climates.

Early this year Tranberg became a sole distributor for Raychem industrial heat tracing products used for winterization in marine and helideck applications.

Rick Newell, special applications manager at Pentair, explains: “When working inarctic offshore environments, our clients need operational reliability at all times… To achieve this, our customers rely on our in-depth knowledge of the design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation processes from the beginning of the project to its completion.”
