VÅSTRA FRÖLUNDA, Sweden – MMT has received a contract from Medgaz concerning inspection of the offshore pipeline system between Algeria and southern Spain.
Under a joint venture agreement, MMT andReach Subsea will use the vessel Edda Fonn for the campaign, due to get under way this month.
TheMedgaz system transports gas north from Algeria across the Mediterranean Sea in a maximum water depth of 2,155 m (7,070 ft).
