Latest Lula FPSO departs BrasFELS shipyard

Keppel FELS Brasil’s BrasFELS shipyard has delivered the FPSO P-66 to the Petrobras-led Tupi BV consortium.

SINGAPOREKeppel FELS Brasil’s BrasFELS shipyard has delivered the FPSOP-66 to the Petrobras-led Tupi BV consortium.

The vessel, which departed the shipyard on Feb. 4, will be deployed in the Lula Sul field in the deepwater Santos basin.

BrasFELS’s workscope included fabrication, integration, testing, and commissioning of topsides modules.

FPSOP-66 has a production capacity of 150,000 b/d of oil and 6 MMcm/d of gas, and an oil storage capacity of 1.6 MMbbl.

BrasFELS has two other ongoing FPSO projects: FPSOP-69, a lookalike to the P-66, and Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes MV29.
