Offshore staff
RAVENNA, Italy – Micoperi has signed an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract with Quantum Power Ghana Gas for the Tema LNG import terminal, which will be located near Accra, Ghana.
This concerns construction of the full offshore and onshore project infrastructure which will connect a floating storage regasification unit to the onshore gas distribution network.
Work on the infrastructure is due to start early next year and should be ready within 12 months following commencement of the construction work.
Earlier this year, the parties in the Tema LNG Project executed an offtake agreement with Ghana National Petroleum Corp. and a time charter party agreement withHöegh LNG of Norway.
