Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – HB Rentals has won contracts worth more than £1 million ($1.26 million) from various clients for workshops, local equipment rooms, and pressurized offshore service modules.
Prosafe commissioned the company to design, manufacture, and supply two DNV 2.7-1 and 2.7-2 Safe Area-certified welding workshops for theSafe Zephyrus semisubmersible accommodation vessel, currently operating offshore Norway.
OneSubsea contracted HB to design, manufacture, and supply a local equipment room for subsea operations at theTaurus Libra field offshore Egypt.
The specifications included DNV 2.7-1 and 2.7-2, A60 and Safe Area certification.
Finally, Semco Maritime asked the company to design, manufacture, and supply a DNV 2.7-1, A60, Zone II rated pressurized offshore service module for subsea services in the UK North Sea.
All the modules were designed and manufactured at HB’ service facilities in Sauchen, Aberdeenshire.
