STRAUME, Norway – AGR Software and Norway-based Netscenario have joined forces to help oil and gas companies create digital processes to improve cost and operational efficiencies.

The two software providers have previously collaborated to develop digital solutions for the upstream industry, combiningAGR’s data management platform, iQx, and Netscenario’s 3D visualization platform, GeologiQ.

Petter Mathisen, AGR Software Manager, said: “We are very pleased to be working with Netscenario once again. Our first project forAker BP’s Ivar Aasen field was a real success, which allowed the Norwegian E&P company to improve cross-divisional integration as well as enabling engineering teams to create 3D models of the field using historic data. This has helped to mitigate risks and keep costs down.

“AGR Software has been delivering software tools to Aker BP andDet norske for more than six years. The companies were among the first to sign up for the tailor-made data and experience capturing system, iQx. The tool has been developed based on user feedback and after actively using the system for over two years, Aker BP now has all its well logs and experiences in the platform.”
