LONDONBritain’s Oil & Gas Authority (OGA) has decided not to extend offshore licenses P2253 and P2258, operated by Burgate E&P.

According to partnerCluff Natural Resources, both licenses will therefore expire on Nov. 30. OGA will likely make them available for the UK’s next licensing round under more favorable “innovate terms.”

Last month, Cluff managed to secure extensions for licenses P2248, where it estimates potential gas resources at 1.73 tcf, and P2252, both of which it operates with a 100% interest.
