HOUSTON – Harvest Natural Resources has issued tenders for an FPSO for the Dussafu project offshore Gabon.
The company operates the Dussafu PSC: although the third exploration phase expired in May, this has no impact on the four discovered fields under the exclusive exploitation authorization, which Gabon’s Direction Generale Des Hydrocarbures awarded in mid-2014.
In order to start production by July 2018, the current plan is to initially develop the area surrounding the Ruche well followed by development of the other fields and drilling of selected exploration prospects identified on3D seismic, acquired in late 2013.
Harvest has received two proposals for the purchase of its Gabon interests and is in discussions with both potential buyers.
