EMGS receives Malaysian contract extension

TRONDHEIM, Norway – Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has firmed up a provisional contract with an oil company in Malaysia.

The award confirms the provisional agreement announced earlier this month for a contract extension worth about $8 million on a 3D EM data acquisition job offshore Sabah, Malaysia. TheBOA Thalassa will perform the survey, which is estimated to take about two months with an expected completion date in early January 2017.
