ESBJERG, Denmark – MacArtney Underwater Technology Group has acquired a majority interest in Danish contractor ASME, which designs and manufactures equipment used offshore and in ocean science.
ASME specializes in PLC and PC-based active heave compensated solutions, launch and recovery systems, automated electric and hydraulic turntables and tensioners, electronic control systems, and others.
Subsidiary company ASME Hydra designs and manufactures hydraulic cylinders for the offshore market that are said to require high quality materials and welding as well as traceability and documentation.
