    Fugro Galaxy on location for North Sea Verbier survey

    Jersey Oil & Gas says the geophysical survey vessel M/V Fugro Galaxy has arrived at UK central North Sea license P.2170, blocks 20/5b and 21/1d.

    LONDON – Jersey Oil & Gas says the geophysical survey vessel M/VFugro Galaxy has arrived at UK central North Sea license P.2170, blocks 20/5b and 21/1d.

    Under contract to the license’s new operator,Statoil UK, the vessel will acquire a site survey over the Verbier prospect ahead of a possible exploration well in 2017.

    The site survey is expected to be completed during the current quarter, followed by interpretation of the results.
