SeaOwl set to expand oil and gas service coverage

French contractor SeaOwl has agreed to buy Ogas Solutions, an oil and gas services group formed in 1999 and based in Bangkok.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Following its acquisition of Wellstaff in April, French contractor SeaOwl has agreed to buy Ogas Solutions, an oil and gas services group formed in 1999 and based in Bangkok.

The acquisition should help the group broaden its integrated service offer to the industry.

Ogas Solutions employs more than 1,000 people in various countries, withAsia – mainly Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand – providing 50% of its turnover.

It is also said to be well established on the African continent, with subsidiaries complementary to those of SeaOwl Group.
