Jascon 31 to support repair works at PEMEX offshore fields

ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands – Permaducto (Protexa) has chartered Sea TrucksJascon 31 vessel to provide accommodation and heavy-lift services in the Gulf of Mexico.

These will support an initial 50-day repair program atPEMEX Line 221 at the Abkatun-A platform serving the Abkatun field, due to start next month.

On completion, the vessel will provide similar services at PEMEX Lines 63a and 65 in the Ku-Maloob-Zaap field for 42 days plus options.

Jascon 31 is a DP-3 accommodation construction vessel with a 400-metric ton (441-ton) heave compensated main crane. It has accommodation for 408 persons, a heave compensated gangway, and 1,300 sq m (13,993 sq ft) of unobstructed deck space.
