    Det norske to appraise North Sea license

    The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Det norske oljeselskap to drill an appraisal well in the North Sea, southeast of the Frigg fields.

    OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Det norske oljeselskap to drill an appraisal well in the North Sea, southeast of the Frigg fields.

    The jackupMaersk Interceptor will drill well 25/2-18 A in production license 442, which comprises part of block 25/2 and 25/3.

    This will be the second well on the concession, awarded in 2007.
