Prosafe rigs on hire in North Sea, Brazil

Prosafe has issued an update on the contracts of its offshore accommodation support semisubmersibles.

LARNACA, CyprusProsafe has issued an update on the various contracts of its offshore accommodation support semisubmersibles.

Safe Zephyrus, which was delivered in 1Q, received an Acknowledgement of Compliance from Petroleum Safety Authority Norway last month, and has since started a contract with Det norske oljeselskap offshore Norway.

The newly converted tender support vesselSafe Scandinaviaremains on contract with to Statoil until July 2018. Drilling support operations began in April.

Regaliastarted a contract with Shell in the UK late May. Safe Bristolia, after completing a two-month contract with BG Group, is now laid-up in Norway.

Safe Notos was delivered from COSCO (Qidong) during 1Q and is in transit to Brazil, where it is expected to arrive in early October.

Its extended contract with Petrobras now runs to three years and 222 days and the total contract value is $189 million.

Since June, Prosafe has sold theSafe Britannia, Jasminia, and Safe Hibernia for scrap/recycling in the US.
