Malta LNG FSU prepares to leave Singapore

SINGAPORE – Keppel Shipyard Ltd. is preparing to deliver an LNG floating storage unit to Bumi Armada subsidiary Armada Floating Gas Storage.

The sail-away ceremony for theLNG Mediterrana was recently held in Singapore, attended by Dr. Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister of the Republic of Malta.

The vessel will soon sail to Malta where it will operate at the Delimara LNG regasification terminal forElectroGas Malta Ltd.

It will be permanently moored to a jetty and deliver LNG on a continuous basis over 18 years and three months to the regasification plant which will feed a 400-MW base load power station.
