ABERDEEN, UK – Apache has awarded TWMA a one-year, £1.5-million ($1.97-million) contract for waste management in the North Sea on the Awilco-owned semisubmersible drilling rig WilPhoenix.

TWMA will deploy its TCC RotoMill system for offshore processing and EfficientC for cuttings transfer and distribution.

The company supported a previous drilling campaign on the rig last year and is also providing EfficientC bulk transfer services on Apache’s Beryl Bravo and Alpha platforms and onshore processing services for these and other Apache North Sea facilities.

The provision of bulk transportation involves directly pumping drill cuttings from storage tanks onboard the rig to a supply vessel, then transporting the drilling wastes to an onshore processing facility.
