OSLO, Norway – Spectrum has started broadband reprocessing of its Zeus and Zeebries 3D datasets as part of its new 21,300-sq km (8,108-sq mi) Olympus Broadband 3D seismic project offshore northwest Australia.

The surveys will be processed using high-end broadband PSTM and PSDM sequences, introducing modern imaging uplift to this complex geological region of the Northern Carnarvon basin.

Spectrum, in partnership with Searcher Seismic, is applying the technique to an additional 20 open file datasets that adjoin the Zeus and Zeebries surveys. DownUnderGeoSolutions will process these from field tapes and they will then be merged into one conformable regional 3D volume.

Full final PSTM products should be available in 2Q 2017, with PSDM products following during 3Q 2017.
