Statoil prepares for mid-Norway well spud

OSLO, Norway – Statoil Petroleum has Petroleum Safety Authority Norway’s consent for an exploratory well in the Norwegian Sea.

The semisubmersibleSonga Delta will drill the well in block 6407/7 in production license 107C. Drilling could last up to 33 days, depending on the result.
