Fugro wins offshore Norway integrity management contract

Det norske has awarded Fugro a three-year contract for integrity management support and intervention works in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UKDet norske has awarded Fugro a three-year contract for integrity management support (IMS) and intervention works in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.

The offshore scope covers subsea assets at the Alvheim, Vilje, Volund, and Bøyla field developments. It will also cover support for the Ivar Aasen development. Work has been ongoing in May and June.

Various inspection tasks will be carried out by Fugro at the AlvheimFPSO using the dynamically positioned IRM vessel Skandi Carla, with inspection class and work class ROVs. The company will also perform intervention activities and detailed non-destructive testing tasks.

Work has been planned by Fugro’s IRM project team.
