HOUSTON – Forum Energy Technologies has delivered subsea pig launchers and receivers (PLRs) and laydown heads to an unnamed project offshore North Africa.
The nine PLRs, to be deployed for a development involving nine subsea wells, vary from 4 to 24-in. in size, in water depths ranging from 300-800 m (984-2,624 ft).
The systems produced at Forum’s Moffat subsea engineering business in Northumberland, northeast England, will be used for flooding, cleaning, gauging, strength test, intelligent pigging, and dewatering activities.
