TRONDHEIM, Norway – EMGS says it expects to benefit from the Norwegian government’s recent decision to award 10 production licenses to 13 companies under Norway’s 23rd licensing round.
All 10 licenses are in theBarents Sea, with three in the newly opened southeastern Norwegian Barents Sea.
The awards should deliver EMGS around $9.5 million in data-licensing agreements related to its multi-client library covering the Barents Sea.
