STAVANGER, Norway – Det norske oljeselskap has awarded First Geo a framework agreement to deliver wide-ranging subsurface and well engineering services.
The contractor will provide subsurface specialists, geologists, and geophysicists, wellsite and operations geologists, anddrilling and completion engineers.
Helge H. Nyrønning, First Geo’s managing director, said: “Providing specialist subsurface, drilling and well engineering services we contribute towards keeping oil companies’ investments and cost down.
“With consultants that are local at Det norske’s offices around Norway, this is a business model that is particularly attractive in a costs-conscious environment.”
The contract runs until 2020, with options for two x two-year extensions.
