LUXEMBOURG – Apache North Sea has awarded Subsea 7 an EPIC contract for the Callater field development, 335 km (208 mi) northeast of Aberdeen.
The contractor will be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of a 4-km (2.5-mi), 45-in. pipeline bundle system comprising production lines and power and supply services.
In addition, it will install a 13-km (8-mi) electro-control umbilical and associated structures, and perform field testing and pre-commissioning works.
Subsea 7 will manage all project activities from its offices in Aberdeen, with offshore activities planned for 1Q 2017.
