Datum360 to assist North Sea Culzean data management

Maersk Oil has awarded Datum360 a four-year contract to implement Software as a Service solutions for the Culzean development in the UK central North Sea.

COPENHAGEN, DenmarkMaersk Oil has awarded Datum360 a four-year contract to implement Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for the Culzean high-pressure/high-temperature development in the UK central North Sea.

The main component of the solution – PIM360 – will be at the center of Culzean’s engineeringdata management.

Datum360 software will be used for issuing, maintenance, and creation of a tagging and numbering specification and matching of these to specific documents which will capture work completed on all the Culzean platforms and floating storage vessel.

Maersk has also employed Datum360 to advise its data control center on processes and software and to train its staff on engineering information systems.
