LONDON– Production from the Erskine gas/condensate field in the UK central North Sea has been impacted by a pipeline blockage, according to partner Serica Energy.

Late last month production was temporarily suspended during maintenance work to allow a pig to be recovered from the Lomond to Everest condensate line and to repair a condensate export pump on the Lomond platform.

Equipment is being deployed to safely clear thepipeline and operations should re-start in mid-April. Pigging of the Erskine-Lomond pipeline has been completed.

Serica adds that reservoir performance, since the company became a partner last June, is encouraging with little observed pressure decline.
