HOUMA, Louisiana–Tidewater Subsea has charted the Jones Act-compliant MV Brandon Bordelon for 60 days plus options.
Brandon Bordelon is a 260-ft (80-m) DP-2 vessel featuring a helideck, a 60-ton AHC crane, and a mezzanine deck supporting two FMC Technologies Schilling HP 150 ROVs. The vessel can now perform a variety of operations, including inspection, maintenance and repair, light construction, survey, and inspection work. It also offers 6,200 sq ft (576 sq m) of useable deck space.
The vessel delivers an ROV control room, ROV support offices, and four additional below deck Tier 3 generators, providing fully redundant power to the crane and ROV systems.
