GDANSK, PolandProtea has completed construction of a crane package for an FSO that will work on Total’s Martin Linge field in the Norwegian North Sea.

The delivery comprises two deck cranes - a 10-ton safe working load (SWL) turret service crane and a 5-ton knuckle boom crane - and a 15-ton SWL offshore knuckle boom for cargo loading and offloading operations.

All recently completed factory acceptance tests at Protea’s production facility in Kluczbork, southern Poland.

Each crane is designed and certified in accordance with EN 13852-1:2013, DNV LA 2.22:2013 and Norsok standards.

Following further testing the company will deliver the cranes for installation at the Remontowa Shipyard, also in Poland.
