    Songa Endurance starts drilling at Troll offshore Norway

    The newbuild Category D semisubmersible Songa Endurance has begun drilling at the Troll field in the North Sea.

    LIMASSOL, Cyprus – The newbuild Category D semisubmersible Songa Endurance has begun drilling at the Troll field in the North Sea, under an eight-year contract with Statoil offshore Norway.

    This is the second in a series offour Cat D semisubmersibles Songa Offshore has commissioned, all built for and contracted to Statoil.
