HOUSTON– SAExploration Holdings has won a $47-million contract for ocean-bottom seismic data acquisition services. The project is expected to start in the second half of this year.
SAExploration said this project will use ocean-bottom nodal seismic recording technology equipped to operate in transition zones and water depths ranging from zero to 3,000 m (9,842 ft).
“We are excited to have secured another ocean-bottom marine project,” said Brian Beatty, president and CEO. “This will allow us to build on our continued success in this market, as evidenced by our recently completed major deepwater program in Southeast Asia.”
