    Lundin to drill further well in Barents Sea license

    The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Lundin Norway to drill an exploration well in license PL609 in the Barents Sea.

    OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Lundin Norway to drill an exploration well in license PL609 in the Barents Sea.

    The semisubmersibleIsland Innovator will drill well 7220/6-2, the fifth on the license since it was awarded in 2011.

    Partners are Idemitsu Petroleum Norge and RWE Dea Norge.
