CALGARY, Canada – Iona Energy has entered a sale and purchase agreement with GDF Suez E&P UK (part of the ENGIE Group) for Iona’s 2.5% interest in the Esmond Transportation System in the UK southern gas basin.
This includes Iona’s associated interest in the EAGLES offshore gas trunkline.
The $2-million deal is expected to be completed soon, subject to regulatory and third-party consents.
