LONDON – Independent Oil and Gas (IOG) says it is in discussions to contract a semisubmersible rig to drill its Skipper commitment well in the UK North Sea, probably in mid-2016.
The potential funder will also likely provide financial support to the rig owner prior to Aug. 15.
