The Haribo exploration well has been drilled to total depth without encountering hydrocarbons. The well will be P&A’d.

STAVANGER, Norway –The Haribo exploration well has been drilled to total depth without encountering hydrocarbons. The well will be P&A’d.

Spudded on June 21, the well was drilled by the semisubmersible drilling rigTransocean Searcher on the Haribo prospect, which is located 10 km (6 mi) southwest of the Valhall field in the Norwegian North Sea.

Noreco Norway AS,part of the Norwegian Energy Co. ASA group, holds a20% interestin license PL616. Its partners are operator Edison Norge (25%), Concedo (20%), Lime Petroleum Norway (15%), North Energy (15%), and Skagen 44 (5%).
