STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Dana Petroleum has re-evaluated development scenarios for the Lille John and Broder Tuck discoveries in the Danish North Sea, both separately and in a combined development named “Robin Hood,” according to partner PA Resources (PAR).
This follows drilling and testing of theLille John 2 and 2A appraisal wells in license 12/06.
The aim is a declaration of commerciality in early 2016, in accordance with the license requirements. PAR says the drill-or-drop decision for the exploration portion of the license has been extended to a similar early 2016 deadline.
In UK North Sea licenses 22/18c and 19d, PAR adds, work is under way to optimize the location for an exploration well on the largeEkland prospect, due to be drilled in 2017.
