SINGAPORE– COSCO Nantong has agreed to extend the delivery date until April 30, 2016, of one of two jackup drilling rigs originally scheduled for delivery in 1Q 2014 to KS Drilling Pte Ltd. The other rig done under the ship building contract was delivered this past year.
Under the amendment agreement, the owner is entitled to take delivery of the rig any time prior to April 30, 2016.
The drilling rig is based on the LeTourneau Workhorse class design.
