ABERDEEN, UK – Wood Group Intetech (WGI) and Wood Group Kenny (WGK) are working on new software for corrosion modeling of pipelines.
Maestro, a post-processing tool for hydrodynamic modeling, will be integrated with WGI’s ECE, an established tool for quantitative estimation of corrosion rates and materials selection.
This should allow users of hydrodynamic modeling software to extract higher quality, actionable insights from the data generated, WGI says, aiding decisions related to pipeline integrity by highlighting areas of operational risk.
