Petrofac re-engaged for North Sea, Irish Sea ops and maintenance

Petrofac’s Offshore Projects & Operations business unit has won renewals for operations and maintenance work on UK offshore fields with a combined value of $400 million.

LONDONPetrofac’s Offshore Projects & Operations business unit has won renewals for operations and maintenance work on UK offshore fields with a combined value of $400 million.

Largest of the awards is from CNR International in the UK northern North Sea, lasting for five years. It covers the threeNinian complex platforms; the Murchison platform (to be decommissioned); and Tiffany.

In the East Irish Sea, Eni has renewed Petrofac’s contract by two years. Here the contractor provides operations and maintenance support for the Douglas fixed platforms, offshore storage installation and Point of Ayr terminal in North Wales, and is also duty holder responsible for theIrish Sea Pioneer operations support vessel.
