OSLO, Norway – Dolphin’s Sanco Swift vessel will soon start acquiring a 15,000-sq km (5,791-sq mi) 3D SHarp broadband multi-client (MC) survey over the North Carnarvon basin offshore Western Australia.

The contractor will conduct full broadband seismic processing of the survey data to deliver an onboard post stack time migrated (PSTM) fasttrack volume followed by the full dataset.

Supporting oil companies will provide input for the processing.

Later this week, Dolphin expects to complete Phase 1 of roughly 2,500 sq km (965 sq mi) of the Monuments MC 3D survey in the same basin, using the same vessel.

For both surveys the contractor will deploy 10 streamers with 150-m (492-ft) separations and 8,100-m (26,575-ft) offsets.

TGS will process the data using its proprietary Clar-Fi broadband technology.
