OSLO, Norway – The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) and the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) have signed a memorandum of understanding that builds on existing cooperation.

“The PSA has enjoyed good cooperation with Canada for many years. It was natural at this juncture for the authorities to formalize our relationship,” said PSA Director General Anne Myhrvold.

Topics of relevance for the cooperation with C-NLOPB include activities in cold climates, challenges associated with the great distances involved, and ice management.
