HOUSTON – MTS Sensors, a division of MTS Systems Corp. (NASDAQ:MTSC), is showcasing its Temposonics and Level Plus products at the Offshore Technology Conference 2015 in Houston.
The new Temposonics T-Series linear position sensors are designed for use in hazardous areas or safety-relevant applications including oil platforms, power generation, and chemical processing, said MTS, adding that this is the first SIL2 capable linear position sensor for industrial applications.
MTS Sensors is displaying a range of products designed to perform in harsher operating conditions, including:
• An explosion-proof high pressure housing for R-Series and G-Series rod-style sensors
• The G-Series Model GTE for dual redundant output and optional ATEX Ex nA approval
• The E-Series Model EH that features a compact IP69K housing.
