OTC 2015: Schlumberger showcases photorealistic reservoir geology service

HOUSTON– Schlumberger has earned an OTC Spotlight Award for the Quanta Geo photorealistic reservoir geology service.

The service redefines imaging in oil-base mud to provide highly detailed, core-like microresistivity images that visually represent formation geology. These images enable confident visual identification of facies and determination of directional trends, thus reducing uncertainty in reservoir models, improving field development plans, and quantifying project economics.
