    Ocean Rig extends drillship contract with ENI offshore Angola

    Ocean Rig UDW Inc. (NASDAQ:ORIG) has extended the contract for the drillship Ocean Rig Poseidon to ENI Angola for a further one year until 2Q 2017.

    NICOSIA, Cyprus –Ocean Rig UDW Inc. (NASDAQ:ORIG) has extended the contract for the drillship Ocean Rig Poseidon to ENI Angola for a further one year until 2Q 2017.

    The company has entered into a new contract for the drillshipOcean Rig Olympia to drill offshore Angola commencing in 3Q 2015 for a minimum of eight months with a total contract backlog of about $91 million.
