Offshore staff
LONDON – Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH) says exploration drilling has re-started offshore the Falkland Islands.
Operations on theIsobel Deep (14/20-1) well in the North Falkland basin had to be suspended on April 24 to effect repairs to the BOP control system of the semisubmersible Eirik Raude.
Following re-testing of the BOP stack, the rig was cleared to spud and suspend the Jayne East (14/15c-6) well on April 29 and to do the same at the Chatham (14/10-10) well.
Yesterday it re-enteredIsobel Deep.
