    Hercules Offshore sells four rigs

    In its rig status report for May, Hercules Offshore notes that it has sold four rigs that it cold stacked in 2009.

    HOUSTON –In its rig status report for May, Hercules Offshore notes that it has sold four rigs that it cold stacked in 2009.

    The Hercules85, 153, 203, and 206were reported as sold this month. No buyer was named.

    The move bringsHercules Offshore’s fleet to a total of 20 rigs, 11 of which are cold stacked.
