Otto Marine delivers four newbuilds

SINGAPORE – Otto Marine Ltd. shipyard PT Batamec recently completed the construction of four new vessels for PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK). The delivery was comprised of two harbor tug units and two anchor handling tug supply vessels.

A delivery ceremony was held March 27, 2015 at the Batam, Indonesia shipyard. The two 3,000 bhp harbor tug units were namedPatra Tunda 3151 and Patra Tunda 3152, and the two 5150 bhp AHTS were named Transko Balihe and Transko Moloko. The total contract value is $36.6 million, Otto Marine says.

“While the group strives to strengthen our position as a leading offshore supply vessel operator, our shipyard remains an integral part of the business portfolio. The shipyard continued to tap on the cabotage market in Indonesia, and take selective shipbuilding orders to enhance our revenue base,” Michael See, group CEO, said.
