HOUSTON– Welltec has received an OTC Spotlight Award for the Welltec Annular Barrier (WAB).
WAB is an expandable, metal annular barrier engineered and qualified to replace cement in well construction. Its rugged design, qualified to ISO V0 meeting regulatory standards, has been used as a cementless, primary well barrier to prevent surface annular pressure over the life of the well.
Welltec is exhibiting at booth 3117.
