TEL AVIV, Israel– Delek Group’s gas subsidiaries have accepted a request by the Cypriot government-owned gas company DEFA concerning potential gas supplies through pipelines from the Leviathan field offshore Israel.
DEFA has asked for theperiod of validity of the proposal to be extended by three months to July 31, 2015.
Accordingly, Delek expects the commercial examination process and negotiations with the bidders are expected to continue in the near future.
